Many payment card providers offer solutions that claim to be eco-friendly, ‘green’ or sustainable – but if you look a little more closely, they have more work to do to make their products truly sustainable. When it comes to payment cards, that’s especially true. Most providers offer ‘eco’ cards that only contain a portion of recycled material – with the rest being ‘virgin’ PVC – making an already dire environmental problem worse.  

Here at G+D, we don’t think that’s good enough. That’s why we’re committing to eliminating virgin plastic from our cards altogether. We aim, by 2030, to have all our cards virgin plastic-free, but we’re pleased to say that our Convego® Beyond range of sustainable payment card bodies is made from entirely recycled or compostable plastic. Right now.
